The Word of a Bear

The Fourth Entry of the personal journal of Nowhere. The more I travel in the world, the more I am amazed by it. As much as I learned from my master, I have come to realize I know very little. It has been a few days since my last entry and much has happened. The first night passes easily, and our first part of the day was much the same. Around mid-day we came upon a strange stone archway. There was writing on it in a strange script. Ardyn seemed to be able to decipher it, and he was able to tell us that it was something that his people would use regularly. Something of a path marking, and a wishing of good luck. I find that I grew quite fond of the elf in spite of the short time he was with us. But I am getting ahead of myself. We passed through the archway and reached the edge of the forest. We spent the night just off the path, and dove into the murky gloom of Lurkwood early the next morning well rested. The first few days of our journey in the forest were simple. We decided to ...

Third Entry of the Personal Journal of Nowhere It is a new and strange place I find myself in to sit and write this in. On the edge of a strange wood, looking for a tiefling, like myself, I find myself with a new traveling companion. The people I have met over the past few days have been the most curious I have ever encountered. I would say that some of this is Blank's influence. He seems to be one who can easily speak to new people. This is not something I find easy. Although I often attributed this to my infernal heritage and the experience I have had when people of other races react to me, Blank has shown me that heritage does not have to define how you interact with people. Over a good pint of ale he found another new adventurer, and was open to him accompanying us. In spite of the fact that I disprove of Blank's use of his staff, he does have good soul.  The morning after we made it to Miribar I demanded that we find a temple to my lady and see if there might be s...

Of Books and Bags

The Second Entry of the Personal Journal of Nowhere It has been a strange few days. I have now seen things I never would have expected to be able to see. Great metal creatures flying in air, corpses with no will or mind of their own moving at the bidding of another. Assassins not part of my own temple. I know that part of the purpose of this quest was to experience the world as it is. To see what it is the Dark Lady desires of me, but I never imagined things like this. How could I? But, I am getting ahead of myself. After we had a good rest, we continued our search or the pillars or Raven's Rook. We went back to the area with the observatory. We took a quick look through the university but didn't find much of interest. I did pick up a few books at the library. One on basic jewelry making and one on precious stones. I've been thinking of taking up the craft as a hobby. We continued on to where there seemed to be some warehouses. A search of the first one we came to rev...

Journey to Raven's Rook

Thus begins the personal journal of Nowhere  Teifling Monk to the Goddess Shar I have been journeying long from my home in the Ardeep forest, but this is the first place I have found a face that looks like mine. It is a singular experience meeting a person of your own race for the first time. Blank is his name. He is a magic user, and seems quite skilled at it as well. We met in a pub in Fireshear. We spoke long and found that we enjoyed each others company enough to consider traveling together. A few days after our meeting, a pair of heavily injured dwarfs entered the pub. Curious about what had happened to them we approached. They told us they had been trying to free the town of Raven's Rook from an evil force that was killing their people. The town had been evacuated, and the dwarfs had attempted to vanquish the evil, but only just escaped with their lives. The mentioned a hefty reward for riding the town of this problem, so Blank and I set off towards Raven's Roo...
